Toronto Attractions

Many Toronto attractions are within walking distance from our home. Walk South/West and find yourself in the centre of Toronto’s Shopping/Theatre District / Financial District. Enjoy a day at the Eaton Centre and then catch a show at one of the many theatre venues in the area. The Ed Mirvish Theatre, The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre, The Princess of Wales Theatre and The Royal Alexandra Theatre are all in close proximity.

Catch a baseball game at the Rogers Centre and support your favourite team. Dinner or drinks at the top of the famous CN Tower’s 360 restaurant – rotating restaurant is incredible! Walk North/West and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the famous Church and Wellesley area.

Upscale Yorkville is where you can shop until your heart’s content at stores such as Holt Renfrew and William Ashley’s China, or spend an afternoon in the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Complete your day at one of the upscale spas around town for the ultimate luxury experience. The Distillery District which is a twenty minute walk from our home. In this district you’ll find many restaurants, specialty shops and much more; it’s a great place to dine and shop.

If you are up for a stroll, you can start right where you are: Old Cabbagetown and then walk North/East into the Cabbagetown District. The historic homes are beautiful to view and make for a wonderful afternoon/early evening outing. Alternatively, Allan Gardens is only a block away and their greenhouse is spectacular!

Niagara Falls is just a short drive away and you can hop on local public transit to get you there. Another option is to take an organized tour. It all depends on your budget.

If you want to travel to the outer limits of the city and beyond, the Toronto Transit System (TTC) is a few blocks away as is the GO Transit system. Alternatively, you can hail a taxi, Uber and Lyft.
